Reforesting

Our logs are purchased from suppliers who practice reforestation – FSC certified.

Fiberglass Shingles

Less petroleum in shingles and inhibits fungus and mold growth.

Waste Reduction

Sawdust and wood chips are donated to local farmers and log cutoffs are donated to residents for firewood.

Natural Insulator

Cells in wood fibre provide excellent source of insulation without the need for artificial insulation. Also reduces energy requirements for heating and cooling.

Low Emissions

Logs do not give off any emissions as in the production of bricks, vinyl and aluminum siding.

Recyclable

Log homes are a recyclable and reusable product with an indefinite lifespan and structural integrity.

Log Home Package

Our log home package includes our Triple “S” Technology™ system resulting in the most energy efficient, air-tight log home package on the market today. As an added benefit, we also include 30 year decorative fibreglass shingles, woodgrain fibreglass exterior doors, Garaga insulated garage doors, TJI subfloor with “Edgegold” sheathing and many other upgrades. Ask about our 8″ x 12″ log wall system or check out our Cabin Series if you’re looking for a 3 season cottage or cabin.

Timberframe Package

Our timberframe package is exclusively designed to meet your exacting standards. All added benefits included in the log home package are also included in the timberframe package.

Design Services

If you’ve imagined your dream home but don’t have any drawings or sketches, the team at Colonial Concepts is here to offer design suggestions or answer any questions you may have to make your home the most efficiently designed and affordable log or timberframe home money can buy. We work with you to final construction blueprints, which are included in the cost of your package, resulting in a substantial cost savings.

Contracting Support

Not only will Colonial Concepts help you design and manufacture your log or timberframe package, we can also assist you in complete turnkey construction. This saves you both time and money and negotiating the best price is obviously one of the most important aspects you will handle during the buying process. All construction details will be taken care of for you, from the purchase of the package to the final finishing details of your home.
